Coming Soon: Music Canada Live Delivers Suite of Best Practises for Members
Music Canada Live is pleased to announce the creation of a suite of best practises to be delivered to membership this fall.
Developed by Music Canada Live with input from members and industry experts, Music Canada Live’s Best practises give insights into general practises that live music companies can apply to non-competitive facets of their business.
“Live music is an industry that demands so much of everyone involved – making every night a creative, operational, and financial success means there are many plates to keep spinning! A simple change or a new idea can go a long way toward making operations run more smoothly. As part of Music Canada Live’s research and information mandate, I’m doing research to provide members with the most up-to-date practices in noise mitigation and other areas. We’re seeking out the best ideas worldwide and putting them in the Canadian context. A rising tide lifts all boats, and the better-performing each of our members is, the stronger the Canadian live music industry will be overall,” said MCL best practises researcher, Ian Swain.
Stay tuned for more information on how members can access this invaluable information.
